Three undergraduate students from ADAPT were honored at the SMU Hamilton Marr Scholars Event, April 4, 2018. Susie Kim, Shalanda Berkley, and Kathryn Curtis, each received a Hamilton Scholarship in 2017-2018 academic year to gain hands-on research training under the mentorship of Dr. Priscilla Lui. Susie did a wonderful job sharing some preliminary findings in a poster entitled, “Everyday and police-related discrimination: Associations with mental health.” Their deepened learning experience will not be possible without the generous donation of the Hamilton family and the organized support from the SMU ‘s Dedman College Interdisciplinary Institute. Well done, Susie, Shay, and Katy!
