Sunday , June 21 | Duwamish field trip

Time Description Location/Room
9:00a – 3:00p A late Holocene delta of Puget Sound was built by Mount Rainier detritus, warped by the Seattle Fault, shaken by additional earthquakes, and occupied by native peoples before its transformation into industrial Seattle. Expect soft mud on path to tidal-marsh deposits beside a Superfund Site. Limit 18 participants. Depart and return from the University of Washington Seattle campus
