Indigenous Walking Tour & Land Discussion – RSVP here!

Join us for a discussion on Land Acknowledgements and the impact to Indigenous peoples in the Seattle area. Following the discussion, we will go on the UW Indigenous Walking Tour and highlight a few locations on campus that hold significance.

This symposium is all about the Brighter Days ahead. Whether it is finding where your Belonging is in the advising realm and building connections, Becoming the best you can be and taking care of THAT best self, or Blooming into your role as a knowledge expert, we hope you can find something that shows the Brighter days ahead.

Join a discussion on all things advising. Use the time to discuss advising best practices, new trends with students, something to share? There will be a general theme to the discussion, but we wanted to give the space and opportunity to have folks connect.

White Elephant & Cookie Exchange
Date: Tuesday, December 10
Time: 12:pm-1:30pm
Location: Miller Hall 104 (RSVP HERE!)
Enjoy a small White Elephant and cookie exchange. We will have light snacks and holiday music playing as we gather one more time before the new year!
– Please bring a small gift item that would bring an adviser joy and happiness. It’s a great opportunity to bring objects for adviser office spaces, virtual or on-campus!
– If you are bringing cookies or a bakery item, please bring a sticky note with dietary ingredients. APAC will provide bags for cookie exchange (or bring your own containers if you wish!)
