SWANA Evergreen Chapter Student Scholarship Opportunity

The local chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) is offering students with these interests in environmental or solid waste/materials management careers scholarships of up to $2,500.

The deadline is July 1. To be eligible, students must be enrolled in college or grad school for next fall, be children or grandchildren of SWANA members, or be SWANA student members. The good news is that becoming a student member is free and easy.

The scholarship application is two pages and does not require an essay. Applicants do not need to be pursuing studies in solid waste or materials management (SWANA’s focus), but a focus on environmental work will make students more competitive. Contact Meara Heubach or scholarship committee chair Tyson Wright if you have any questions.
