Clark Construction Group and Atkinson Construction Information Session

To those looking for internships, full-time jobs or are otherwise curious:

Clark Construction Group and their pal Atkinson Construction (a wholly owned subsidiary of Clark) will be in More Hall this Friday from 12:30 – 1:20 p.m. to talk about their companies and opportunities to intern and work there.

What: Clark Construction Group and Atkinson Construction Employment Information Session

When: Friday, October 23rd, 12:30 p.m. to 1:20 p.m.

Where: More Hall, Room 230

Why go: Information on these companies and the internships and full-time jobs they want to hire you for

Both are national construction companies that build great things. Clark builds mostly buildings (vertical construction). They are part of the joint venture contractor for the $1.2 billion Washington State Convention Center Addition, and they are also recently built the $968 million Sea-Tac Airport international arrivals facility. Atkinson builds heavy civil projects (e.g., roads, bridges, dams, rail, etc.). They have been in Seattle forever and have built things like the $180 million I-90 Snoqualmie Pass East project (bridges out over Lake Keechelus…stuff Professor Yamaura worked on!), the I-5 Skagit River Bridge Emergency repair project, and multiple Link Light Rail projects.

Come see what it is like to work for these companies this Friday!
