Hi everyone,

I just got word that the Golden Gate Bridge chief engineer is having trouble getting interns and permanent hires because of the insane cost of housing in the Bay Area. That said, if you are FROM the Bay Area or have a line on cheap housing there, or otherwise can swing that cost/relocation yourself – there may be a job waiting for you on the Golden Gate Bridge. Which could be a pretty cool internship or full-time job.

If you are interested, send me a note and let me know what your situation is and how it might work out. For instance, “I am from San Mateo and could just live with my family for the summer” or “my Aunt lives in Mill Valley and would love to host me for the summer and I love structures/construction!”.
