2022 Faculty Mentoring Sessions – Mark Your Calendars!

Hi CEE Students,

In conjunction with CEE faculty, we will be hosting a series of Faculty Mentoring Sessions starting next week and continuing through the end of April. These one-hour sessions are your chance to meet with faculty from each area and learn about scheduling your senior year, hear about potential career paths, and get any other questions answered. All students are welcome to attend, but if you are a current junior, these sessions are specifically targeted to you and are extremely important for planning your senior year! The schedule is below.

Week 4

  • Monday, 4/18, 12:30 – 1:30pm: Hydrology & Hydrodynamics, led by Professor Faisal Hossain (MOR 230)
  • Monday, 4/18, 4:00 – 5:00pm: Transportation, led by Professor Yinhai Wang (MOR 230)
  • Wednesday, 4/20, 12:30 – 1:30pm: Construction, Energy & Sustainable Infrastructure, led by Professor Steve Muench (MUE 153)
  • Wednesday, 4/20, 3:30 – 4:30pm: Structures, led by Professor Richard Wiebe (MOR 234)

Week 5

  • Monday, 4/25, 3:30 – 4:30pm: Geotech, led by Professor Joe Wartman (Location TBD – somewhere in More Hall)
  • Wednesday, 4/27, 12:30 – 1:30pm: Environmental, led by Professor Mike Brett (Location TBD)
  • Friday, 4/29,  12:30 – 1:30pm: Environmental, led by Professor Mike Brett. (Location TBD)

(The env. sessions will be identical – you only need to attend one).

All sessions will be held in person, and we highly encourage you to attend if you are able. Please let us know if you can’t make it and still need information.
