Additional EPA Job Announcements

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to pass along more job opportunities for permanent positions at EPA. This seems to be an unprecedented time for hiring at EPA, and we would love to have applicants from UW as we seek a wider swath of applicants, so please feel free to forward this on to alumni or new graduates!

In addition, EPA is holding webinars on May 26 and 27 that give information on how to apply and how to advise students on applying to EPA jobs. Please feel free to let me know if you have questions.

I’m excited to share that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Region 10 office has announced several openings for permanent employment on the USAJobs website. USAJobs is the U.S. government’s website for listing civil service job opportunities with federal agencies.

EPA Region 10 is committed to recruiting and retaining a diverse workforce that is representative of the communities we serve in the Pacific Northwest.  Our primary office is located in Seattle, Washington, and we serve the states of Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and 271 Pacific Northwest tribal nations. Region 10 also has operations offices in the following cities: Anchorage, AK; Boise, ID; Portland, OR; and Lacey, WA. The current job announcements include Seattle and/or most of the operations offices locations as possible duty stations.

These positions will be located in our Air & Radiation, Enforcement & Compliance, Laboratory Services & Applied Science, Land, Chemicals, & Redevelopment, Regional Administrator, Superfund and Emergency Management, or Water Divisions.  Click here to learn more about each of these programs. The types of positions currently available are technical and focused on implementing EPA laws, regulations, and policy to protect public health and the environment in the Pacific Northwest (e.g., water, air, land, environmental research, etc).

Six USAJobs announcements are now open for technical positions requiring science or engineering degrees. Please note that the announcements have varying deadlines and eligibility requirements, so please review them carefully and as soon as possible. Below is a brief description of each opportunity and its announcement link.
