Call for Applications – Master’s in Marine Affairs

Dear Students,

School of Marine and Environmental Affairs – Now accepting applications!

The School of Marine & Environmental Affairs (SMEA) is a two-year, in-residence graduate program that leads to the Master of Marine Affairs degree from the University of Washington. The field is a multi-disciplinary field with strong traditions in both practice and scholarship, with SMEA graduates being uniquely qualified for various marine and environmental affairs related positions upon graduation. Our alumni go on to become policy makers, analysts, administrators, consultants, nonprofit managers, activists, and researchers.

Being an interdisciplinary program by nature, we value students from diverse educational backgrounds and majors, and thus encourage students from all disciplines to apply! No specific prerequisites are required. We invite you to attend one of our upcoming info sessions to learn more. For more details and info on how to register click here. Continue reading

CMU Engineering and Public Policy Program Info & Application

Hello Students,

As an M.S. alum of the EPP program, I recommend it for anyone interested in technology and policy interaction.  The mentioned program flyer can be found at:

https://www.cmu.edu/epp/prospective/ms-in-epp/imagesfiles/epp_ms_recuit_flyer_v9.pdf [cmu.edu]

I hope this message finds you all well. EPP continues to grow its professional M.S. degree in Engineering and Public Policy, adding nine new students this year. As we gear up for this year’s recruiting season, we are hoping you could help us get the word out to potentially interested students.

EPP M.S. students aspire to work at the intersection of technology and public policy and to grapple with the implications of emerging technologies for organizations and society. Incoming students have a variety of technical backgrounds from their prior degrees or professional experience. While most students  have  a  science  or  engineering  undergraduate  degree,  we  also  consider  social  scientists with an interest in technology issues and a strong quantitative background. EPP students go on to Continue reading
