I wanted to reach out to introduce myself as a Student Liaison with the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS) Puget Sound Chapter. Erin Emmanuel (CC’d) and I are your liaison contacts for the next year.

The Puget Sound WTS chapter has exciting opportunities for student participation and we’d appreciate your help getting the word out.

 1. We have a robust mentorship program which is currently open for students to apply for mentorship.

• To provide support for those who work or are interested in working in the transportation industry, the WTS Puget Sound Chapter is kicking off our annual mentoring program. The October 2022 – June 2023 program is open to any person in (or interested in) a discipline within the transportation industry, such as: planning, engineering, construction management, marketing, communications, operations, and more.

• The main deadline is October 14, but we’ve extended it to October 21 for student mentor applicants

 2. We will be offering scholarship opportunities for students in the upcoming months. Stay tuned for more information!

 3. We welcome student involvement with WTS Puget Sound and we’d appreciate any opportunities to connect with students.
