Upcoming LSAMP Events

        1. Grad School & You – Khoury College of Computer Science Information Session

  • Learn about the Align Master’s in Computer or Data Science – a program for students who are new to computer or data science

    2. UW-LSAMP SURGE Program Presentation (Summer research program at Stanford)

  • Learn about a 8 week summer research program for undergrads

    3. Carson Cruise Information Session

  • Wednesday, November 9th from 1:30 – 2:30pm in the Oceans Teaching Building Room 155 | RSVP: https://bit.ly/CarsonCruiseInfo [bit.ly]
    • A research program in the School of Oceanography at the University of Washington is offering an opportunity to participate in a research cruise on the RV RACHAEL CARSON in January 2023. Learn about the cruise and how to apply.

      4. Bridge to Doctorate Information Session

  1. The National Science Foundation (NSF) Louis Stokes Bridge to the Doctorate (BD) support the recruitment and retention of minority graduate students studying science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
  2. The goal of the LSAMP Bridge to the Doctorate (BD) activity is to increase the quantity and quality of STEM graduate students from underrepresented populations, with emphasis on Ph.D. matriculation and completion

Research Café is a place for anyone interested in research to come and build community at UW. All are welcome, including students involved in research, students interested in research, research mentors, and research support staff.

Research Café takes place every first Friday of the month from 9:30-11:00 AM in Mary Gates Hall Suite 171. Feel free to drop by Research Café any time between 9:30-11:00 AM and stay as long as you’d like!

The event is brought to you by the Undergraduate Research Program, Mary Gates Endowment, and Office of Merit Scholarships, Fellowships & Awards which are all housed in MGH 171.

Management Leadership for Tomorrow’s Career Prep program provides Indian American, African American, and Latinx college students with personalized guidance, effective tools, and a powerful professional network to be successful in highly competitive internships and early career opportunities.
