Engineering Switzerland Info Session (EE 215 and ENG 496)

Hello everyone,

Attached is a flyer for an Engineering Switzerland info session held on the 16th from 11am-12pm in Loew 202. A blurb from the faculty: “Engineering Switzerland is a 4-week early fall study abroad program to the beautiful city of Lausanne where students will get a first-hand look at the history of Swiss engineering and how it has helped this small nation to become a leader in high-tech research and engineering. With excursions to the CERN facility in nearby Geneva, cheese and chocolate tours in Gruyères and Broc, and the Matterhorn, students will have the opportunity to explore the country and culture of Switzerland all while fulfilling a UW engineering core course. EE215 (4 credits), ENG496 (1 credit).”

As an additional heads-up, please be on the lookout for an RSVP for a generalized Engineering Abroad info session to be held in the Maple Hall Great Room from 4-5pm on Monday the 21st! The UW Engineering Study Abroad page has been updated with accurate dates, and we will add additional faculty-led programming as it is approved by the study abroad office later this month
