Some of the responsibilities include: Serves as a Hydraulic Engineer and Reservoir Regulator responsible for the water control and operations of complex projects and systems in a large geographical area within the District Boundaries; development and preparation of water management coordination plans for the operation of flood control and multi-purpose projects; water control, operations and maintenance manuals; water management operation planning studies; hydrologic and meteorologic studies; special hydrologic research investigations for specific geographic areas; post flood reports, and water management portions of reconnaissance and feasibility reports and design memoranda for proposed projects; water management aspects of environmental assessments and impact statements; and development of methodology and necessary computational or other tools to perform these functions.
