Time To Invent – Call For Volunteers

Female undergrads and graduate students! Check out this volunteer opportunity with Time to Invent below.

Hey women in STEM!

If you like working with kids and sharing your passion for science/engineering, we have a great outreach opportunity for you!

Time to Invent (TTI) is a monthly after school program through the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) for 3rd-5th grade girls where we lead fun, hands-on science activities. Some past activities included building gumdrop towers to learn about the engineering design process, and using paper chromatography to compare different pen inks.

Why you should join:

  • Meet women in STEM in various stages of their education in other departments
  • Practice planning and leading a science lesson+experiment
  • Inspire enthusiastic young girls to follow in your footsteps!

Tell your friends! We have a lot of fun visiting the schools and would love to see some new mentors!
