A message from the advising team:

We are now on the home stretch! You have been working hard since the beginning of the quarter and winter break is just a few weeks away!

This update is going to be pretty short since we know you are locked in preparing for your finals but read through to the bottom as I’ve highlighted some blog posts from the last week that may be of interest.

Important Resource Reminder

Midterms, end of the quarter exams/projects and the holiday season, can all be stressful.

Remember, if you are feeling overwhelmed the UW Counseling Center provides free, anonymous services for all UW students.

It is also is important to maintain proactive self-care (get plenty of sleep, stay hydrated, practice stress reliving techniques, etc.). For recommendations and tips, please see the UW Counseling Center’s website including these stress management resources.

CEE Ugrad Student Advisory Board: Self-Nominate Today!

CEE is creating an undergraduate student advisory board that will meet on a regular basis to review and provide feedback on department operations, educational programs, policies and other matters of importance to the student body. A representative of the board will sit on the department’s respective undergraduate educational committees, as well as the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee. Students will be compensated with a $200 per quarter stipend for their work on the board. Self-Nominations are now being accepted.
