Share Your Voice on JEDI topics in CEE Community Survey + Save the Date

In advance of the CEE (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) JEDI town hall (Tuesday, May 25 at 3:30 pm), we are sending out a survey here.

The purpose of this survey is to understand aspects of our department related to JEDI topics. We aim to document the current climate of CEE and to help focus future efforts towards effective improvements.

We invite your voice! Your participation is optional but is greatly appreciated. Your input will impact changes in the department. This survey takes approximately 5 – 10 minutes; responses are anonymous.

Survey participants can enter a raffle for a $50 gift card. The deadline is in one week: Wednesday, May 19.
About the Town Hall Meeting:
A zoom link will be sent separately for the town hall closer to the event. There will be a time for presentations, by the department (Professors Kaminsky, Lowes, and Marshall) and by student groups; for feedback from everyone attending; and, for Q&A.
If you have specific questions you would like to ask in advance, or topics you would like the department’s presentation to include, please email those to Professor Julian Marshall at jdmarsh@uw.edu within the next week.
Thank you to the students, faculty, and staff who helped prepare the survey, and many thanks to you for your time sharing feedback and helping improve our department!
