CEBR & MEM-C Applications due Feb 15

Hello All,

We are less than 2 weeks away from the application deadline for the CEI and MEM-C research experiences for undergraduates at the University of Washington, and I am hoping you can help spread the word. Please see the information below and share with those who might be interested!

The application deadline for both programs is February 15 and the program runs from June 21 to August 19, 2022.

Clean Energy Bridge to Research (CEBR) is a summer program run by the University of Washington (UW) Clean Energy Institute (CEI) and Undergraduate Research Program, and funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF CHE-1950904). It supports a select group of undergraduates to participate in authentic research in solar, energy storage, and grid technologies under the mentorship of UW’s world-class faculty and graduate students. The CEBR REU provides a stipend of $6,000, on-campus housing, $600 for food, and a travel allowance. https://www.cei.washington.edu/education/undergraduate-students/reu/

The University of Washington Molecular Engineering Materials Center (UW MEM·C) summer REU program is focused on exposing underrepresented minorities and veterans to a viable and relevant career pathway focused on materials and energy research. MEM·C is supported by NSF grant DMR-1719797. The MEM-C REU provides a stipend of $6,000, on-campus housing, $600 for food, and a travel allowance. https://uwmemc.org/education/programs/reu/
