This position needs a person with strong math and chemistry skills. The person has to be able to calculate air emissions determinations, manure nutrient calculations, and do the math and chemistry needed to determine if wastes can be drain discharged to the sanitary sewer and continue to meet permit limits.

The person needs to have a basic understanding of environmental laws as they will be determining whether work being done at the Centers meets environmental regulatory requirements. This could be taught, but this experience (or some sort of regulatory/policy experience) would be a major benefit to ensuring the person knew the requirements of the job, and could perform the job functions beyond the skill set of math/chemistry.
