The climbing club brings together the sickest climbers and mountaineers at the University of Washington! From beginners to experienced trad-mom and dad, we give the opportunity to explore the outside with the members and staffers of the club. Our trips include bouldering, sport climbing, trad climbing, alpine climbing, ice climbing, mountaineering, snowshoeing, ski touring, road biking, mountain biking, hiking, and any other activity that gets us outside and laughing.

New to climbing? Join us at one of Crag’s Nights held throughout the quarter. New to the outdoors? Join one of our weekend trips where we can get you on some rock and share our very special hot cocoa recipe (which keeps us warm all throughout the year). New to mountaineering? Join our mountaineering series in the spring!

The mission of this club has always been to get climbers of all skill levels to interact with one another. Our overall vision is to be a club where all of us can grow, learn, and have fun!

Unlike many other climbing organizations, we do not offer any formal training nor guiding services. All of our trips are organized as club outings where every attending individual will be responsible for their own safety and should come prepared with the necessary skills to facilitate that. With that said, the club will never turn away anyone that has no experience. We also act as a hub of information for members that seek to advance themselves outdoors and will tailor our outings to meet the needs of those attending.
