International & ESL Scholars organizes initiatives and events for the support of international individuals and non-native English speakers within (but not exclusively) the department of Genome Sciences. This includes:

• Surveying the GS community for unmet needs related to international & ESL scholars
• Curating international- and ESL-specific resources to be distributed in departmental onboarding and other welcome sessions
• Art installations and other projects to increase awareness of cultural diversity within the department
