Selkirk College (Spokane)

Welcome to Selkirk College!

Based in Spokane, we join Palouse College as the second College in Spokane.

The Selkirk Mountains, beginning in Northeastern Washington and North Idaho and extending into the heart of British Columbia, make up the principal range of the Columbia Mountains and are the headwaters of the Columbia River. Fall in the Selkirks, notable for the brilliant gold needles of the Western Larch, Larix occidentalis, rapidly cedes to winter and the abundant, world-renowned snowfall that blankets the pristine, peaceful wilderness before melting and giving rise to the mighty Columbia river that courses through the heart of Eastern Washington. Medical school is much like a river journey that will take you far from your starting point. As your guides on that journey, we are committed to your personal and professional growth. Just like the Selkirk Range is for the Columbia River, our College is the starting point for your amazing journey in medicine.
