Overview

The Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Clinic (CNC) is a collaboration of Seattle Children’s Heart Center and UW Medical Center’s Center on Human Development and Disabilities (CHDD). CNC evaluates and treats babies and children with complex congenital heart defects who had heart surgery before their first birthday. The clinic provides close follow up in the first 5 years of life and continues to follow children through their teenage years.

The goal is to provide reassurance that the patient’s brain and central nervous system are developing normally by evaluating and providing resources/therapies to help the patient meet specific developmental needs.

CNC clinic occurs every Tuesday.
