Hosting a workshop promoting collaborative research between UW and Tohoku U!

We were pleased to host the first in-person workshop between researchers from the Institute of Fluid Science at Tohoku University, Japan and diverse faculty from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. This international event aimed at promoting collaborative research and student exchange programs focusing on sustainable energy and more particularly on ammonia combustion. The one-day workshop was organized within the scope of the JSPS Core-to-Core program and comprised a total of over 20 attendees, including 4 and 8 faculty participants from the U.S. and Japan sides, respectively.
