BSE wins big at the 2024 Alaska Environmental Innovation Challenge

I am incredibly proud of our BSE team, mixing undergraduate and MS students from our program namely, Hussain Aladwan, Jaminfaye Noble Reduque, Anna Fall, Alexis Escure, Lexi Maerz and Brandon Egenes, for winning the $15,000 Grand Prize at the 2024 Alaska Airlines Environmental Innovation Challenge. Your success is a testament to the strength that comes from collaboration in our program and the importance of having diverse voices represented in environmental efforts. This award is a well-deserved recognition of your hard work, ingenuity, and commitment to a healthier planet. You’ve not only impressed the judges, but you’ve also set a fantastic example for other young people who are passionate about making a difference. Tremendous congratulations!
