While IT is formally updating their procedure, here is the current state of play at HMC ED, at least, when PACS is down:
CT will send exams directly to AW server where they will be available for viewing. X-ray will send to Disaster Radworks, which automatically forwards to AW server as well. Identify exams to read from RIS worklist, and select from AW exam index.
If for some reason you cannot log in to AW server, then you will need to review at the modalities.
If you wish to dictate from AW, you will have to enter the accession number in Powerscribe manually, or you can wait until PACS comes back up and recover then.
