Chapter President Alex Capi stands with Washington State Adviser Emma Carpenter as he campaigns for PBL National Western Region Vice President

BALTIMORE, Md. –  Two Thousand members, advisers, and professionals joined forces and participated in the annual Phi Beta Lambda National Leadership Conference on June 23-26, where they listened to innovative world-class speakers, networked with other members and industry leaders from across the country, toured the cities of Baltimore and Washington, D.C., and competed in several business, communication, technology, and career-oriented national competitions.

As a chapter, we congratulate the following:

Alex Capi – National Finalist: Future Business Executive

Alex Capi – promoted as the 2018-19 Washington PBL State Secretary
University of Washington – Gold Seal Chapter of Merit (3 years in a row!!)

In addition, the Washington State Association was nationally recognized for the following awards from the Western Region meeting:

  • Regional 1st place: Largest Increase in State Chapter Membership
  • Regional 1st place: Largest State Chapter – Professional Division
  • Regional 2nd place: State Recruitment of Chapters

At the UW, the following positions are vacant for the 2018-19 year:

In the State of Washington, the following positions are vacant for the 2018-19 year:
  • State Treasurer
  • State Parliamentarian
