Jim Henson’s 1986 fantasy classic comes back to theaters for its 40th anniversary, also in time for the 79th birthday of David Bowie and the 10th anniversary of his farewell album, Blackstar. Though the style is practically obsolete, Henson’s puppetry and dark fantasy remain timeless and unbelievably entertaining.
