If you’re looking for a film opportunity to kick off the school year look no further than the 14th annual Tasveer South Asian Film Festival. It runs until October 6th and is the largest South Asian film festival in the United States. The festival shows a wide range range of films such as narratives, documentaries, shorts, etc. that comment on themes of social injustice and human rights while also providing a counterpoint to prevalent mainstream South Asian and Bollywood films.
