After over a year of movie delays, Marvel is back on schedule. Only a few short months after the last theatrical installment (Shang-Chi, in September), the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues with Eternals. Based on the characters in the Marvel comics of the same name written by Jack Kirby and directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Chloé Zhao, Eternals follows a group of super-powered beings who have been on Earth for centuries.

Review: ‘The Lovebirds’ is the Fun Film We Need Right Now

Not every romantic relationship is the way a romantic comedy makes it seem – there will be fights, and there will be long fights. Michael Showalter’s The Lovebirds challenges this notion in an entertaining way, and much like his previous collaboration with Kumail Nanjiani, 2017’s The Big Sick, this film is fantastic in the way it combines genres to create a compelling story – albeit in a very different way. Review: Don’t Believe the Critics, ‘Dolittle’ is… Pretty Decent

Classic novels have a reputation for constant adaptations. The Voyages of Dr. Dolittle, written by Hugh Lofting in 1923, is one of the ones with some of the most iconic adaptations – both the 1967 film starring Rex Harrison and the 1998 ironic masterpiece starring Eddie Murphy are both great for two very different reasons.
