CSS Grid Summer Camp is starting the week of July 8
We’re packing our bags and heading to camp again this summer. Join us as we dive into the ins-and-outs of CSS Grid! We will be using the LinkedIn Learning course CSS Advanced Layouts as a guide.
Like last summer, we’ve designed this to be a low-commitment summer camp. You’ll work your way through the LinkedIn Learning course on your own. Then we’ll meet up every Tuesday at 2 p.m. in an office hours format to discuss and share. Think: midday campfire!
Self-study starts the week of July 8 and with office hours happening every Tuesday starting Tuesday, July 16 and ending on Tuesday, August 20. These will be held remotely from 2 to 2:50 p.m. Besides office hours, we’ll communicate and collaborate via a Teams channel throughout camp.
You’ll get reminders about milestones and questions/prompts to foster discussion relevant to the study path via the Teams channel. Once you sign up, you’ll get more info about the Teams channel.
Good to know
- Some HTML and CSS knowledge is needed, plus a code editor.
- As a member of the UW community, you have free access to LinkedIn Learning.
- You’ll need to review the videos during the timeframe outlined on the Camp schedule. You’re also encouraged to check in via the Teams channel by the end of each segment.
