MAES Scholarships
Application Deadline: October 16, 2020, 11: 59pm PST
The MAES Scholarship Program was established to increase the number of Latino students completing their higher education goals and are awarded to student members in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Scholarship applications are selected by a panel of professional MAES’ members and are evaluated on the basis of academic achievement, financial need, leadership, community service, and personal merits. Scholarship categories including Graduate Scholarship, Founders Scholarship, Presidential Scholarship, and General Scholarships.
Eligibility
- Must be enrolled as a full time student for the upcoming 2020 fall semester/quarter.
- Graduate student classification is nine (9) credit hours.
- Must have a minimum GPA of 2.0/4.0.
- Must be pursuing a S.T.E.M. degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) at an accredited U.S. university or community college.
- Medical sciences, nursing, and social sciences will not be considered.
- Applicants must be MAES Student Members in good standing and registered at mymaes.org by the deadline date stated above.
- Student membership is $10/year.
- In terms of citizenship, scholarships are open to all MAES student members meeting the membership and scholarship criteria.
- Applicant must be 18 years of age or older by the application deadline.
