The Linda Hall Library’s primary- and secondary-source holdings document the science, technology, and engineering disciplines from the 15th century to the present. The collection encompasses more than half a million monograph volumes and more than 48,000 journal titles. • Residential Fellowships last between one and four months. Fellowship funding is offered up to $3,000 per month for doctoral students and up to $4,200 per month for postdoctoral researchers.
  • Travel Fellowships last between one and three weeks with funding amounts of up to $750 per week to help defray the cost of travel and living in Kansas City.
  • The History of Science and Medicine Fellowship supports a doctoral student whose research examines the intersecting histories of science and medicine. The HSM fellow will spend one month in Kansas City during the 2020-21 academic year conducting research in both libraries’ collections. The fellow will receive a $3,000 stipend to cover travel and living expenses.
