WASFA & FAFSA Priority Deadline

Priority Application Date: January 15

If you miss the priority date, you should still fill out your WASFA or FAFSA.

Undocumented students and DACA recipients who meet specific residency requirements and other select applicants should complete the WASFA by January 15th to be considered for state financial aid.

U.S. citizens and permanent residents should complete the FAFSA each year by January 15 to be considered for priority financial aid.

These opportunities are mostly loans. This priority date refers to financial aid for the following school year. For example, applications filled out by January 15, 2022 will be prioritized for the 2022-2023 school year.
