- For Muslim, full-time graduate or undergraduate students
- In supported fields, including media, politics, law, and some social sciences
- Restricted to DACA recipients, U.S. green card holders, and U.S. citizens
- Scholarships range $3,000 – $10,000
Since 2009, the Islamic Scholarship Fund has awarded 418 scholarships to American Muslim scholars studying and working in fields with the greatest impact on public opinion and policy, including political science, government, public policy, international relations, and public administration. Policy-related scholarships range from $3,000-5,000. The goal: to improve negative portrayals of Muslims in the news, increase the number of Muslim policymakers, and invest in the creation of positive and engaging stories about American Muslims.
