American Indian Graduate Center Graduate Fellowships

The American Indian Graduate Center (AIGC) offers a variety of funding opportunities for American Indian and Alaska Native graduate students, including MA, MS, PhD, STEM, Medical, Law, MBA, and other professional degrees.

Funding opportunities for the June 1st deadline include the following:

  • Dr. Blue Spruce Scholarship – Students pursuing dentistry or dental medicine
  • Gerald Peet Scholarship – Students pursuing medicine
  • Ruth Muskrat Bronson Scholarship – Students pursuing nursing or a health-related degree
  • Lynne Ruth Lafin Elmore Sucher Scholarship – Students who are a member of a New Mexico Tribe pursuing a degree in math, medicine or life science
  • Grace Wall Barreda Memorial Scholarship – Students pursuing environmental studies or public health
  • Katrin Lamon Scholarship – Students pursuing degrees in literature or journalism
  • Jeanette Elmer Scholarship – Students who are members of Wisconsin, New Mexico or Arizona Tribes and pursuing degrees in library science
  • Elizabeth Fuber Scholarship – Female students studying the creative fine arts
  • Thirty7 Scholarship – Students pursuing a degree in education or a teaching certificate
  • American Indian Graduate Center Aerospace Career Enhancement (ACE) Scholarship
  • American Indian Graduate Center NextEra Energy Foundation (NEEF) Scholarship
  • Catena Foundation Land and Water Management Fellowship
  • CNIGA Journalism Scholarship
  • CNIGA Seven Generations Scholarship
  • REDW Scholarship – Graduate applicants must be in a full-time master’s degree program pursing a master’s in business administration, taxation or accountancy
  • Science Post Graduate Scholarship Fund
  • Special Higher Education Program
  • Wells Fargo American Indian Scholarship – Graduate students must be pursuing a degree in business or a gaming/hospitality related field. This includes banking, resort management, gaming operations or management and administration (including accounting, finance, information technology and human resources)
  • Wilson-Hooper Veterinary Medicine Assistance Program
