Hours/FTE: 50% FTE (20 hours/week)
Program: Office of Graduate Student Equity & Excellence
Employment Period: September 16, 2023 – June 15, 2024
Work Location: UW – Seattle Campus and remote

The Office of Graduate Student Equity & Excellence (GSEE, formerly GO-MAP) is seeking a GSA to be a member of a highly collaborative team and serve a primary role in the overall coordination and implementation of GSEE’s student-facing communications plans and programs and events that support outreach, recruitment, retention, and professional development initiatives focused on serving graduate students of color and underrepresented graduate students at the University of Washington. Eligibility Requirements:
  • Must be a matriculated UW graduate student during the stated employment period
  • Must be enrolled for a minimum of 10 credits for Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarters during academic year 2023 – 2024.
 
Salary: This is an Academic Student Employee (ASE) position governed by the UAW Contract and paid according to the Regular Salary Schedules. The monthly pay rate for an SA paid on Schedule 1 or Schedule 3 is $2,586 at the premaster level; $2,779 at the intermediate level; and $2,986 at the candidate level. The above salaries are for the 2022-23 academic year and new salary ranges are anticipated to be announced in July 2023. This position posting will be updated when the new salary rates are available.
