Appointment Period | This is a one academic year commitment from September 16, 2024 to June 15, 2025.

Eligibility | University of Washington graduate students enrolled full-time (minimum of 10 credits per quarter) throughout appointment.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Enhancing Graduate Student Experience
  • Lead GSA for Event Planning & Logistics
  • Support GSA for Communications & Social Media Management
  • Other Duties as Needed

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations, particularly U.S. racial and ethnic marginalized groups
  • Demonstrated commitment to social justice, equity, and inclusion
  • Highly organized, analytical, and motivated individual that can take initiative
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team setting but can also manage independent projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong event planning and/or program management background
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word)
  • UW graduate student enrolled full-time (minimum of 10 credits per quarter) as of Autumn 2024

Salary and Benefits | Compensation is at the GSA level for which the student is eligible. This includes tuition coverage, health benefits, and a monthly stipend.
