Position Overview

General Information:
This Reader/Grader position will support the review and grading of assignments in one section of the following online undergraduate course in the undergraduate education programs:
EDUC 240 A: Introduction to Education
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Provide grading and course assignment review support for EDUC 240 A — an undergraduate course in the College of Education.
- This position works directly with the course instructor and other members of the course teaching team.

- Attend lectures
- Provide assistance to students on assignments of course work (under direction from faculty/instructor) in the form of general direction and common understanding as developed through course. Extensive student tutoring/assistance is not allowed
- Consult w/instructors on the work assigned to students
- Read and grade papers, quizzes, exams. Assign grades for course under the direction of instructor
- Attend meetings of instructional team (faculty, TAs, etc)
- Cannot perform instructional activities such as leading discussion groups/lab sections or lectures
Requirements:
Graduate student in good standing in the University and enrolled in at least 6 credits. Knowledge and experience related to early childhood and family studies is preferred.
