Washington State Business and Professional Women’s Foundation Scholarships

Application Deadline: May 15, 2021 (postmark date); no applications accepted after May 25, 2021

• For women graduate and undergraduate students
• For residents of Washington State for one year or longer
• Scholarship amounts range $500-$1,500
• Restricted to U.S. citizens

The Washington State Business and Professional Women’s (WSBPW) Foundation provides both general and designated funds scholarships, ranging from $500-$1,500, to women attending fully accredited schools of higher education. The scholarships cover several disciplines, including, but not limited to business, communications, STEM (cancer or heart disease research). Some scholarships are open to women 30+, and there is also a military scholarship as well as a single-parent scholarship.

Eligibility

• Residents of Washington State for one or more years
• Women students who are US citizens
• Entering or continuing a curriculum at an accredited school in the field of study that will advance her career goals.
• In need of financial assistance.
• Demonstrated a high scholastic ability.
• Some awards have age restrictions
