Seattle School Retirees Association: Teaching Intern Scholarship

Application Deadline: September 1, 2022

The Seattle School Retirees Association (SSRA) is offering four scholarships of $5,000 for teacher interns. These scholarships for future teachers who are student teaching during the academic year 2022-2023 through a college/university program and who are working on initial certification in an educational field.

The following materials are required to apply for this award:

• Statements of Need, of Work Experience, and of Professionalism
• Two Letters of Recommendation—Letters should address the applicant’s potential for success in a field related to education. One from a Post-secondary educational experience and one from a non-school individual.
• College/University Transcript through first semester or second quarter of current year.
