Hispanic Health Professional Student Scholarship

Application Deadline: September 23, 2022, 8:59 PM Pacific Time

• For full-time graduate students
• In allopathic or osteopathic medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing (including BSN), public health/policy, or physician assistant programs
• With an affinity for the health of Hispanic communities
• Open to DACA recipients and U.S. citizens and permanent residents

In 2004, National Hispanic Health Foundation (NHHF) established the National Hispanic Health Professional Student Scholarship program and its first Gala in New York City for medical, nursing, dental, public health, and pharmacy and health policy students with outstanding academic records, leadership, and who are committed to serving Hispanics.

As of January 2022, NHHF has awarded over $1.737 million to 324 scholarship recipients. This year, the scholarship will feature an award of up to $5,000 annually for 3 years, as well as individual scholarship awards of $2,000 each.
