Society of Scholars Graduate Fellowships support dissertating doctoral students in writing up and sharing their individual research in the multidisciplinary, bi-weekly forum of the Society of Scholars.  Awards will be based on the scholarly merit of the individual applications. Scholarship likely to contribute to intellectual exchange among a diverse group of colleagues especially encouraged.

Graduate research fellows of the Society of Scholars receive two quarters of support, including benefits and tuition waivers.

Eligibility

UW doctoral students who have advanced to candidacy by submittal date and who will receive no other funding during the term of the award. Residency during the fellowship term is required for participation in the Society of Scholars. Please contact the Simpson Center if you have questions about your eligibility.
