Seminar by Stuart Campbell – January 16, 2020

The UW Center for Translational Muscle Research announces a Special Seminar presented by

Stuart Campbell, Ph.D.

Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering & Cellular and Molecular Physiology, Yale School of Engineering & Applied Science

Cardiomyocyte Responses to Loading, Unloading,
and Matrix Stiffening”

Thursday, January 16, 2020

11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Brotman Auditorium,

UW Medicine at South Lake Unio

Stuart Campbell’s laboratory is focused on studying the biophysical mechanisms underlying inherited cardiomyopathies. His approach combines new computational models of muscle function and engineered heart tissue constructs made from human induced pluripotent stem cells. He holds degrees in bioengineering from Washington State University (BS, 2004) and the University of California San Diego (PhD, 2010).
