HAMM Lab Travels to the Myofilament Meeting

HAMM Lab members and affiliates Mike Regnier, Farid Moussavi-Harami, Kristi Kooiker, Matt Childers, Saffie Mohran, Travis Tune, Sonette Steczina, Kerry Kao, and Anthony Ascencio attended the 2024 Myofilament Meeting [link] in Madison, WI. They had an excellent time presenting new research, engaging in discussions with collaborators, and enjoying good food! Dr. Regnier presented HAMM Lab research updates in the Myofilament based diseases session. Saffie and Sonette were invited to give talks at the Early Career Investigator symposium. Matt was awarded the prize for best poster presentation (postdoctoral scholar category). Dr. Regnier organized two topical workshop on iPSC-derived cardiomyocytes and computational modeling of the myofilament. Matt and Travis led the computational modeling workshop, which was sponsored by the UW Center for Translational Muscle Research [link].
