Christian Mandrycky, Ph.D.

Postdoctoral Fellow

Christian is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Bioengineering, working in the labs of Dr. Mike Regnier and Dr. David Mack. Christian earned his B.S. from Georgia Tech and his Ph.D. from the University of Washington. In his graduate work, Christian focused on developing vascular models to explore the effect of different hemodynamic and geometric cues on endothelial cells as well as supporting parenchymal cells like cardiomyocytes. As a postdoctoral fellow Christian has transitioned to focus more on muscle and he is currently investigating myosin mutations associated with distal arthrogryposis in stem cell derived skeletal muscle.
