From the very start, we would like to acknowledge and thank our community partners, the Ethiopian Health Board, housed under the amazing umbrella organization called the Ethiopian Community in Seattle, the Somali Health Board, and the Congolese United Foundation, which has been leading local and state-level policy changes for immigrants and health-related issues, and the Eritrean Health Board, a true grassroots organization working hard for its community members. All of these important community-based organizations and their information can be found below:

We also want to acknowledge the Univ. of Washington students: Shukri Hassan, Najma Sheikh, Nahom Daniel, and Guiomar Basualdo, who have contributed invaluably to this work. Utilizing CBPR principles, we stand very proud of this academic-community partnership. Lastly, we also have a land acknowledgment here to recognize the native communities who lived on this land where we live and work on today:
We acknowledge the Coast Salish peoples of this land on which we live and work, the land which touches the shared waters of all tribes and bands within the Duwamish, Puyallup, Suquamish, Tulalip and Muckleshoot nations.
