New NSF Computing Award

A new award from the National Science Foundation (NSF) will support computational resources for research and teaching at the University of Washington Bothell (UWB). UWB Physical Sciences Division (PSD) faculty member Eric Salathé is the Principle Investigator (PI) for the project CC* Compute: A campus-wide computing resource for research and teaching at the University of Washington Bothell for $395,000 over two years with Co-PIs UWB STEM faculty Joey Shapiro Key and Kristina Hillesland. This award supports access to the University of Washington Hyak computing cluster for faculty and students, including data analysis research for the UWB gravitational wave astronomy research group.
