Aidan (he/him) has a BS in Biological Engineering with a minor in Computational Neuroscience from the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO. His current project seeks to design fibrous biomaterials that can tune the response of innate immune cells to reduce inflammation and promote healing for use in tissue engineering applications. Aidan is committed to studying the overlap between medicine and engineering to develop novel solutions for orthopedic injuries.

When not in the lab, Aidan enjoys rock climbing, hiking, playing board games, and spending time with his two cats (Yam and Potato) and his dog (Winston).

Aidan’s favorite piece of glassware is the glass syringe used for electrospinning.
