MD/PhD Student

 

Kyley (she/her) has a BS in Chemical Engineering, with an emphasis on Biomedical Engineering from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. She is currently an MD/PhD student in the University of Kansas Medical Center’s Medical Scientist Training Program and has completed Phase I of her medical training. Her current projects in the lab include the development and use of a mechanically-tunable hydrogel system to model the meniscal microenvironment.

Outside of the lab, Kyley enjoys reading, drinking coffee, and discussing pop culture.

Kyley’s favorite piece of glassware is the round-bottom flask.
