Children need to hear in noisy environments such as classrooms and playgrounds to acquire language and learn. We are studying how the brain helps infants and children hear under these noisy conditions when many people are talking at the same time and under what conditions it gets difficult.
Participation would involve an EEG recording, developmental assessments, parent questionnaires, and computer-based listening games.
We are currently recruiting:
• Children 0 to 18 years of age who wear hearing aids
